COVID -19 Update: Due to the health and safety guidelines from the state, we are not able to start up the Awana program at this time.  Please be praying for Awana and its leaders as we wait for the opportunity to start up again.  Meanwhile, we miss our Clubbers ALOT and look forward to the time when we can all be together again!

The prayers of Faith Community Church and the Awana staff go out to your families, our community, and our country as we seek God's comfort and guidance during this difficult time.

The acronymn AWANA is derived from the first letters of the phrase Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed as in 2 Timothy 2:15.

The Awana ministry is an international, nondenominational, BIble-centered children and youth ministry in over 27,000 churches in the US and internationally.

Awana is a fun, Bible-based club with focus on the Gospel and Scripture memorization.  Children from preschool through 6th grade are encouraged to join the weekly meetings and participate in games, activities, music, Bible study and more.  Clubbers earn awards through Scripture memorization and working through handbook sections.

Our Club

Our club offers programs for children who are 3 years old ( must be 3 by 9/1/19) through 6th grade, and meets on Wednesday nights from September - April @ 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

If you would like more information about Awana please contact our commander, Earl Holden,  You can contact him at 509-833-0506 or email him.

Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3 to 5 year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.

Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it's the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their Cubbies friends, they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes.

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids (kindergarten to 2nd grade)  to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends.

Each year, Sparks clubbers:

  • explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture
  • memorize Bible verses
  • complete handbook activities

Truth & Training, better known as T&T, engages 3rd - 6th graders  by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace.

Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child's knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.
