Pastor: Ryan Poelman

I was born and raised in a wonderful family in Southern Alberta, Canada, where I grew up working on our family’s honey bee farm. After several years in that work, the Lord called me to pursue pastoral ministry. In response to that call, I attended Calvin Theological Seminary, from which I graduated in December of 2023.

I’m married to my amazing wife, and together we’ve been blessed with five beautiful covenant children. By God’s grace, He brought our family to Zillah in the fall of 2023. It has been a joy to serve—and to be served by—the body of Christ here at Faith Community Church.  In my free time, I enjoy reading and hiking, especially when it includes time with my family or a good book on theology.
